November 2021 - Present
My role at Stakester has consisted of running the Founder Tom Fairey’s podcast The Back Yourself Show. In my position I took control and rebranded the podcast, creating a structure to the episodes and series and creating an overall improvement to the podcast. Key skills running the podcast are:
Preproduction
Seeking out aspiring entrepreneurs and investors to come onto the show.
Booking the guests onto the show
Zoom meeting with upcoming guest to prepare them for the show
Creating program notes including the background of the guest, topics that the host should bring up, and any other relevant information.
Designing and creating settings for the different series
Recording and Post Production
Being on set on the day making sure everything is running smoothly
Editing Audio podcast with Adobe Audition
Editing Video podcast with Premiere Pro, creating multi-camera sequences.
Running the podcasts social media (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Youtube)
Promoting the podcast through social media
Writing the show notes and uploading the podcast to be distributed every tuesday on multiple podcast platforms.

The Prosperous Performer podcast is a podcast for all singers and performers of all ages and abilities. Each episode provides basic and advanced fundamental skills to grow as a performer.

Recording, presenting and producing the podcast
Providing clear audio for listeners

Uploading Podcast to feeder Podbean that distributes it onto Apple, Spotify, and a personal podcast website
Creating content for the podcast: videos, I edit with Adobe Premiere Rush or Imovie; Photos, I edit them using Adobe Photoshop Mix then put it all together with Adobe Spark posts.
Promoting podcast through social media: Facebook pages, Podbean and Instagram
Time management keeping and punctuality with keeping to weekly deadlines
Collecting and understanding analytics and demographics from Spotify, Apple, and my website finding out how listeners found the website [Instagram, google or Facebook]

By creating my own podcast I have worn all of the job hats, I understand every area of a podcast that needs to be juggled. I do all of my marketing and in a space of four weeks I have had over two hundred listens on Spotify, Podbean and visitors to my website.

Eagle Radio provided me with the more advanced skills I need for the broadcasting industry. With the information and skills I have learnt I was able to create my own podcast.

Radio Redhill opened my eyes to broadcasting and the community with it. Volunteering provided the basic key fundamental skills to start my personal broadcasting and presenting journey.
